Art means something different to everyone. And sometimes, just sometimes, something that makes sense to someone might seem absurd to others. That is how controversies are created. Recently, Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino released a song, This is America, which is a satirical take on the life of America and Americans (just one of my assumptions).

The song has already garnered over 75 million+ views since its release on 6th May. The rapper has not yet revealed the meaning behind the song's music video, but the depiction speaks more than what he would reveal. Though, this is not the first time when an artist used his/her music video to create controversy.

So, let us take a look at the songs.

The music video features Donald Glover himself where he created a cultural storm by depicting the state of America whenever a shooting occurs. At one time, people are all angry and against the NRA, the government and gun laws, but after some time, they are unconcerned, carefree and happy. The music video is celebrated by many artists including Erykah Badu, Hozier, Bruno Mars and many more. It is indeed a masterpiece wrapped in controversies.
