Eyebrows are most of the time the centre of attraction. When you look at any person, the first thing you look at his/her face is the eyebrow. In fact, you may not believe that all sorts of beauty trends, as well as blunders, originate from eyebrows.
From thin brows to having bushy brows, you will find a noteworthy number of ideas in magazines and beauty blogs suggesting you different ways to style that furry thing on your face. They may suggest you anything except one thing, and that is letting your eyebrows meet because that's what they think is something not-so-beautiful.
But no! There is a girl who has proved all this wrong. She has shown the internet and people of these beauty blogs that unibrows are nothing to be ashamed of! Yes, a Greek Cypriot student and a model, who's naturally a blonde, dyes her unibrow black to emphasise it more. She's beautiful, and you definitely want to look at her.
So, let's know this woman.
Note: All these images have been taken from her Instagram account.
"I have a unibrow because it is a preference," she recently wrote on Instagram. "I'm who I am because I want to be this way. When you judge others for wearing makeup, dying their hair, altering parts of their body or inner self, just because you don't, makes you just as toxic as a lot of societal norms and pressures we are constantly faced with. At the end of the day, just do what you should be doing because I'll be doing what I want whether you like it or not."
Sophia openly accepts that her look is not to everybody's taste, and she understands that some people find it unattractive, but she isn't concerned about what other people think of her.
You can see how eager she is to celebrate Halloween that she made up like that before the event.
She is! She is not ashamed of her unibrows and flaunts it openly, plays with it. You can see her playing with animals on her unibrow in one of her posts.
She recently posed as Frida Kahlo, the famous Mexican painter also known for her striking unibrow, after getting inundated with requests to dress up like the iconic artist.
"I have always loved her and thought she was so beautiful. After doing that, I feel like I have labelled myself as someone who is embracing being myself and isn't necessarily being natural, but instead just doing what I want."
Well, she believes in freeing her mind and experimenting with colours. She recently put up her photo in this dark blue liner and eyeshadow that looks just amazing.
This is adorable. The model put up this selfie with her dog on her Instagram account.
Hadjipanteli told Harper's that she gets lots of negative comments on her posts, with Internet trolls calling her ugly or freakish just because of the hair growing on her face. But she's not doing it for them. And ofcourse, I liked this woman's choice of taking the beauty beyond the general stereotypes.
Because this confident woman is so freaking awesome, she give zero effs to the world.
She wants to encourage other women to embrace that aspect of their face, and not feel like they have to spend so much time grooming, tweezing, and shaping their brows.
I think beauty is beyond materialism. And this woman has proved by crossing all the stereotypes.
What do you think? How about you try doing something like that?
