There's a certain nostalgia that lies with the cartoons of the 90's. It's probably because almost all of them featured a group of friends, the head of which featured an oddly shaped head, they decide something out of the ordinary and end up doing something else which they regret and would set out to fix.

The magic charm lasted for our generation, and we loved it, cartoons were an integral part of our childhood, a childhood which would be ruined. 1. Pinky & The Brain

1. Pinky & The Brain

Here's a 90's classic which is loved by everyone. Pinky & The Brain featured two lab mice which were genetically modified, one to be a genius, other to be insane, but the show never explicitely told which is which!

Although it seemed implied that Brain was the genius, some theories refute that claim. In one episode, Pinky is a literate where as Brain isn't, in the same episode, Brain cannot answer a question on a quiz show which Pinky can. Apart from this in many episodes, Pinky seemed to talk sense where as Brain wasn't and this led many theorists to believe that Pinky was the brainy one.

You don't believe the theory? Let's take a closer look

1. Patrick represents sloth - he does nothing and even won an award for doing nothing!

2. Squidward represents wrath as he's always angry.

3. Mr. Krabs represents greed as he's always money minded.

4. Plankton represents envy as he envy's the success of Krusty Krab.

5. Sandy represents pride as she's always proud of her being a land mammal.

We know, we know that it's your favorite show but the evidence regarding the theory is so strong that we had to, HAD to include it on our list. Have you ever wondered why the characters had blue tounges and were stuck in a seemingly endless summer? Well, there's a theory which explains this.

It's not hard to connect the dots, is it? The children had blue tongues which represent death, Rolph's family was trampled by farm animals, and that's why he owns them in the afterlife, Jonny 2x4 had only his friend plank in life and the actual plank was just a way to remind Jonny of him, and Eddy is assumed to be grown by strict parents too, unfortunately, pass away in a bunsen burner accident. We must say, the evidence is pretty strong.

Your wish is our command. You thought we won't include a man who flies on a carpet and keeps a Genie inside a lamp, would we? Well, we did and we have a solid reason to do so.

While it may seem that the series is based in the past, judging by the costumes and architecture shown, some theories suggest that Aladdin is based in the future after an apocalyptic event. If timelines are to be considered, Genie said that he's been crafting the lamp for 10,000 years and was seen imitating many modern day characters. It was believed that Aladdin takes place in the year 11970 and the carpet is a long lost piece of hover technology. This theory does have a few holes, but it gives us a fascinating insight on a beloved classic.

Everyone loved the accident prone, crime fighting, semi robotic detective. He always had his sidekick Penny and her dog, and who can forget Dr. Claw, the enemy kingpin. But some theorists believe that he was the real Inspector Gadget!

According to theories, the Inspector Gadget we see is actually a cyborg built by Penny after her uncle was killed by M.A.D. It was also mentioned on the show that Gadget was never actually killed, just injured and remade into a cyborg. The real Gadget though, was alive and seeing himself being replaced by Penny's cyborg he wanted to destroy it.
