There are billions of people who live on the face of Earth across different continents and countries. Each one of them is different and unique in their ways. Just like a few people can be super good at one thing and excel at it while others cannot even understand it. This happens because all of ours brain works differently. What may seem easy to one person might seem the hardest thing to someone else.
Similarly, all of our bodies also react differently to different things. While a few of us can lick our elbows majority of us can't!
Here are ten mind blowing things that mostly no one can do!
It looks easy, but not many of us can do it. Try placing your hand on a flat surface, and fold your middle finger as shown in the picture. Now try lifting all the individual fingers separately. While you'd be able to do it with the index finger and the pinky finger, but you'll have a hard time lifting up the ring finger since, the middle finger and ring finger have the same tendon, while the rest two fingers have separate tendons.
Very very few people can lick their elbows using their tongues. These rare cases occur when either their tongues are longer than the normal size or their elbows are extremely flexible.
All of us can raise our thumbs for giving a thumbs up to various people at variegated times but some people take it to the next level by stretching their thumbs backwards and all the way touching their wrist with it. Well, that is possible because they have hypermobile joints.
People say that this trait can be developed by practising, over time, but scientists claim that it is also a hereditary based trait. Not many of us can do it, but well, I can!
Have you ever sneezed with open eyes or seen anyone doing it? I highly doubt! There is a very old rumour about this that people who have tried doing this have suffered from popped eyes. To find out, why don't you give it a go? :p
People who can transform their tongues into weird shapes or can twist it differently do not get it from their parents. In fact, it has very little to do with genetics rather it is based on a person's characteristics.
You'd be glad if you aren't able to do this because brain stimulates similar feelings when in pain and when tickled. That's why the majority of us aren't able to tickle ourselves since we already know that tickling will create hysteria and a feeling of pain and hence we involuntarily stop ourselves.
Ears have a lot of individual muscles that sync and work together, to wiggle our ears we have to make these muscles move separately, which we technically can't do. But still all of us know at least one person who can wiggle their ears, but how? Don't worry they have not learned to do this nor is it a miracle. All those who can do this have adapted it subconsciously.
There is no major scientific explanation behind this rather than the fact that either your fist is too big or your mouth is too small. No other reason as to why you can't fit your entire fist in your mouth.
All of us can cross the first two fingers of our hands i.e. the index finger and the middle finger, right? Now while they both are crossed, try crossing your ring finger and the small finger too. You might fail at crossing both the pairs simultaneously!
