"In photography, there is a reality so subtle that it becomes more real than reality." - Alfred Stieglitz
Indeed the wise words I've heard today. There is no denying the fact that photographs are a mirror to your heart. They give an idea to the viewer of the way a photographer thinks, creates, feels or loves doing. Capturing life and moments in a single frame that are breathtaking is an entirely different ball game.
You may come across people who demand rich and hefty DSLRs, yet they don't possess enough talent to see the world through different eyes. Still, there are some to be appreciated for giving such a visual treat to their viewers and that too with just the real talent they have. When such photographers do the magic in the frame with the help of a smartphone, the photograph becomes unbeatably alive.
Same happened when I came across the artwork done by this Canadian photographer Guido Gutiérrez Ruiz. I literally found myself awestruck and I'm sure you will too. So, let's take a tour around and embrace the beauty locked in the following photographs.
Isn't it a soothing picture perfectly captured on the frame. Imagine all your desires in one place and be locked in the serenity of the surroundings.
Who doesn't love the orange evening sky?
Such a beauty captured on the frame. The crystal clear water acts like a mirror for the building.
When the peaks of the building seems like they are hanging from the sky.
The above photograph you see here is of the Puerta de Alcalá monument in Madrid, Spain. Look at how perfectly elements have been chosen for the frame.
Clouds are always a great element to be captured on the frame.
As simple as a scenery.
Even the spilled water on the land can be a beautiful element for a photograph.
Oh! what a scene to adore. The buildings on this busy street painted in a single colour.
It's like the chandelier handing from the wall. But notice closely, its just the beautiful ceiling.
No need to say. The reds are clearly visible in the picture.
Indeed! A subtly taken shot.
Ruiz who loves to travel the globe, started posting his imagery on Instagram account three years ago. He has since racked up massive 30K followers.
Guido Gutiérrez Ruiz, an amateur photographer, took this stunning image at the Royal Palace in Spain that too with his smartphone.
How beautiful it is to look at the sky while the peak of the buildings reaches beyond the heavens!
Guido has captured hundreds of breathtaking snaps in places including London and Madrid using the city elements and angles. This one is from his current place in Madrid.
Just the simplicity in this picture defines itself without words.
Needless to describe the role of shadows in our lives.
The other end of the street perfectly captured near the lamp post.
Well the black and white pictures in this colorful world are everyone's favourite.
Perfect timing to capture the spiralled ladder view.
The horse riders add to the beauty of this Palace in Madrid.
Guido Gutiérrez Ruiz's stunning images use elements including water to create beautiful stills with just a Google Nexus 5 smartphone. This picture has been captured at Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya, Barcelona.
In this stunning photograph, the photographer has used some light at the end of a bridge to create a breathtaking halo effect.
The use of light and elements can create a beautiful image. By making a small child the king, the background is made minimal. It seems like a giant takes over.
After looking at this picture, many may argue that the quality is not apt, but the photographer insists that after four years of practice - it definitely is.
While the photographer started his work, he covered the shots here in a Catholic Church in Barcelona. Those were his initial days.
The night lights and people are crystal clear in the mirror image that is covered beautifully in the frame. Spain is such a beauty!
Ruiz's images range from high and low shots. A majority of the photographs added to the social media site differ from any others he has posted.
While people were walking in the rains, he was busy recreating his shots in the rain drops.
This is what the photographer calls a 'puddle picture'. He loves recreating memories and photos with water.
I hope you must have enjoyed gazing at such beautiful artistry of this photographer. And when it comes to knowing the reality, it is understood that these are simple yet elegant shots captured on the phone. That's why some of them have become my personal favourites.
That's all folks!
