Life is always ready to give surprises at the end of something beautiful, but many-a-time, these surprises turn out to be nightmares. Right on the last day of Muslim holy month of Ramadan, a shocking incident took place in the Punjab province of Pakistan where almost 148 innocent people lost their lives due to an oil spill from a tanker near Bahawalpur.

The incident happened when a tanker carrying about 40,000 liters of fuel overturned in Bahawalpur's Ahmed Pur Sharqia on Sunday morning. The tanker was reported to explode after the driver was attempting to make a sharp turn while traveling from Karachi to Lahore on the main highway.

Over a hundred people got injured from this incident, said the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rana Mohammad Saleem Abdul.

People from the nearby area, after seeing the tanker going down rushed towards it and apparently, this turned out to be the worst decision of their life.

Let's see how!
