We all have loved superheroes. We have tried to be them or act them and even imitate their costumes. Be it wrapping bed sheets around our necks or posing in front of the mirror. The influence they had on the modern pop culture is undeniable. Comic-cons, Halloweens, and many other events take cosplay to a new level. But there are always some people who take it to new extremes. And often times, results are nothing less than humorous.
One such incident happened when this couple decided to do a cosplay! When James and Alisha realized that they were expecting, they decided to let their friends know about it with a special theme. They decided to make a comic-based cosplay and recreated their, "Hey-we're-pregnant" story in Batman-style Photoshoot. Regardless to say, the photos are hilarious and still strike major parenting goals. Let's read the story and see it ourselves.
The bat signal is typically only used to call Batman in times of absolute need. If Alisha had had access to the bat signal she might have used it that day.
Typically Batman is a solo operator, dark and aloof and above things and you'll see in a moment when that changes, it's not the easiest news to take.
Meet James and Alisha Doherty. They love superheroes (like really love them) and when they learned that they had some special news, they decided to announce it to the world in the style of Batman on Facebook.
Alisha (Batgirl) had discovered that they were to be new parents.
James found himself, as Batman, coming to grips with the idea that raising a child is more complex than battling 'The Joker'.
There are definite upsides of a pregnancy though and James and Alisha decided to spell them out in their photos.
The couple joked that this enormous "Bat Cave" would be the perfect place to raise the child.
Funnily enough, this isn't Alisha and James' first appearance as Superheroes. They dress up as Bat people a lot and entertain children on a regular basis. So, they're probably ready for the challenges that lay ahead. We hope that one of the super talents that they have is patience.
