World War II began in 1939 and ended in 1945; it has often been regarded as the deadliest conflict in the world, till now. After this war, the body of United Nations was set up to bring back peace in the world.

Amongst the pistols, rifles, machine guns, hand grenades, it's hard to imagine someone fighting with a sword and bows. When we hear of swords and bows, we are reminded of the medieval era, surely not the World War II. But, this brave soldier, John Malcolm Thorpe Fleming "Jack" Churchill, nicknamed “Mad Jack", was a trailblazer and equipped himself with nothing except a bow and some swords. This looked like a child's play, looking at the technical equipment of the era.

He was born in Hong Kong and both his father and grandfather served in the Ceylon Civil Service. He has defined what it means to believe in oneself, despite all adversities.
