Most of us believe, our bedrooms are our sanctuaries; like a safe house, a place to get rid of all the stress in the world and a place to rest to restore ourselves to our best version. However, this is certainly not the case, because as soon as we step out of our comfort zone and see what is happening at the global level, the same restlessness comes back.
A documentary photographer, James Mollison's compelling pictorial series, "Where Children Sleep" captures the beautiful, yet shattered bedrooms of children around the world. It gives us the much-needed perspective, as it reveals some dark and hidden differences between the places where children sleep.
