Although, we prefer to take great care of our health. We rush to a physician on any notice of a major symptom, but generally, we tend to ignore the small changes taking place on their body. signs like minor coughs, headache, or even blackheads are usually left untreated. But you never know how a simple blackhead or mole can get transformed into something unbearable with time. This 85-year-old woman ignored the black spot on her upper back as she thought that it was just a mole, but it was something beyond her imagination. She was shocked to know from the dermatologist that it was an enlargement of her blackhead. Unfortunately, the lady was left with no other option but to get it extracted from her body. The removal of the enormous black head was carried out by the famous dermatologist, Dr Sandra Lee aka Dr Pimple Popper.
This lady came to her dermatologist, Dr Sandra Lee with a black-head that had been ignored for 85 years.
The shocking reality brought chills to the old lady. Although the conversation between the doctor, the patient, and her daughter are quite light in tone, the stress of picking out the black-head is palpable.
The doctor numbs down the area around the blackhead so it could be easy to squeeze it out.
Once the area was numbed, the doctor tried to squeeze the blackhead out of its place. But that didn't work out well.
After that, the doctor picked up the the tweezers to pull it out.
Halfway through the extraction, the blackhead started breaking off.
Finally, the entire blackhead was carefully extracted. And it looked quite gross.
After the removal, a big hole was left in its place. Dr Sandra Lee explained about the blackhead, “We plan to see her again in the near future."
She adds "... and if she doesn’t like the appearance, or if it tends to fill again, we can excise the enlarged pore, and place a couple stitches, so that she replaces the “hole” with a fine line scar.”
After the extraction, the doctor wanted to show it to the patient, who was already grossed out and opted not to.
