10 Signs That Tell You Are Wearing The Wrong Bra Size

It’s important that our clothes fit. Well, I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to walk around with the buttons on a too-small top, exploding.Even the lazy girls will agree that it’s important to try on clothes to get the fit right, and it’s especially important to do so when it comes to bras. People aren’t just randomly chattering when they talk about the importance of finding a good-fitting bra. When you have the right bra on, you actually won’t complain about how uncomfortable it is. Your titties will be happy and when they’re happy, you’ll be happy. To know that you’re wearing the right bra, it’s helpful to know the signs that you’re wearing the wrong one. The only way you can correct the issue and get a bra that actually fits. So, here are 10 key signs that you’re wearing the wrong bra size.

#1 The band is riding up

This is a super common occurrence and is usually caused by one of two things. The first option is that you are wearing your straps too tight which pulls the back up because the front is held down by your breasts. The second is that you may be wearing your band too tight of a hook if that's the case, you just need to let it out to the next set.

#2 Straps keep falling off

There's nothing more annoying than constantly having to re-adjust your bra straps because they're slipping down. And when this happens the one purpose a bra has, to hold your boobs up, is no longer happening because the straps are what holds the bra up. Try tightening your straps or going down a cup size.

#3 A gap in the band back

Your bra is supposed to fit comfortably snugly so if there is a big gap in between the band and your back it is probably time for you to drop down a band size so that you are getting the support that you need. A well-fitting bra band should allow for two fingers to fit under it, but no more.

#4 The cups are overfilled

If you can see that your boobs have a second bulge right above the edge of your bra when you look at yourself in the mirror from the side then you are overfilling the cup. If this is the case then it is time for you to go up a cup size, or possibly even two.

#5 Cups are sagging

Even if you have found one perfect bra that doesn't mean that things will last forever. Over time and with lots of wearing even the best of bras will start to fit differently. One way to know if this is the case is if the cups appear baggy or wrinkled, if so then sorry to say but it is time for a new one.

#6 Straps leaving marks on shoulders

If you have large breasts than your bra doesn't always have the easiest job in the world. However, no matter how big your boobs are your bra should not be digging into you and leaving marks. In this situation, the answer is to be refitted for a better cup size that will allow the band to carry some of the load instead of the straps.

#7 Side breast bulging

The opposite of having your straps always slipping off, having straps that are too tight can cause the skin around the band next to your armpit to bulge out a bit. If this is the case then all you need to do is loosen the straps! If loosening the straps makes the cup stick out a bit then you need a smaller cup size.

#8 Too much space between cups and breast

If you have space between the top of your breast and your bra then it is time to consider going down a cup size. When you have that space it means your bra is too large or that you are wearing the wrong shape of bra if your breasts are full at the top then a demi cup might be a better shape than full coverage.

#9 The lower bulging

If your boobs generally bulge out from the downside your must be wearing the wrong strap size, or another reason may be the loosening of the strap due to which it shifts a bit above your boob area. Keep a track of the right size bra and don't let that happen as it looks bad when you wear such a bra underneath a top or a dress.

#10 Cup shape deforms

Like almost any product the quality of a bra starts going downhill with time. With bras the biggest indicator is usually a warped cup shape in the bras that have a moulded cup, when they are warped it can make your breasts look lumpy. To avoid this for as long as possible avoid over wearing a bra or putting it through the washing machine and dryer. That's all folks!Artist: Nidhi VaishnavLike, share and comment in the section below if you've learned anything new.You may also reach out to me at richac@wittyfeed.com
