Then And Now Pictures Of The Mummy Cast Show Their Epic Transformation 

The Mummy franchise has been adopted four different times, and the recent one was of Tom Cruise, but no film has come any close to the success which 1999's The Mummy achieved. It grossed over 415.9 million USD at the box office, and the success of this film also led to a sequel which was released in 2001 as The Mummy Returns. In the film, every character was so amazing that we cnot just forget them till date. As 18 years have passed since the release of the film, it is for sure that the characters would've also transformed. In this story, we are going to take a look at the transformation of the film's cast. So be ready to get amazed.

1. John Hannah (Jonathan Carnahan)

John Hannah's character in the movie created problems, but his acting skills compensated everything. Other than working in this franchise, he is known for playing roles in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Four Weddings and a Funeral. 

2. Arnold Vosloo (High Priest Imhotep)

The American-South African actor played the role of Imhotep in the movie and did it with perfection. He has also worked in many other hit films including Blood Diamond, Hard Target, and G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. 

3. Patricia Velásquez (Anck Su Namun)

Patricia Velásquez also kept her association with acting after playing the role of Anck Namun in the franchise. The 46-year-old is also a model and is considered as first Native American supermodel. 

4. Oded Fehr (Ardeth Bay)

The Israeli actor nailed the role of Ardeth Bay in the movie, and it is probably the best work of his career. Other than this, he is also known for appearing in television shows including Sleeper Cell, Covert Affairs, and Killer Net. 

5. Brendan Fraser (Richard O'Connell)

The lead actor of the movie, Brendan is still the most famous ghost hunter for people all around the globe. Despite having a successful career, the actor has kept a low-profile.  

6. Rachel Weisz (Evelyn O'Connell)

The lead actress of the movie is still turning the heads of people with her flawless looks. She also won the Academy Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her portrayal of Tessa Quayle in The Constant Gardener (2005). 

7. Aharon Ipalé (Seti I)

The late actor portrayed the role Seti with incredible enthusiasm, and whenever he was shown in the film, he entertained the people with ease. He died in 2016 in Israel.  

8. Kevin J. O'Connor (Beni Gabor)

The 53-year-old actor has been the part of many notable films in his career including There Will Be Blood and Van Helsing. But, still, many people know him for his portrayal of Beni in The Mummy. 

9. Jonathan Hyde (Dr. Allen Chamberlain)

What can I say about this man? I mean, he has been the part of almost every big blockbuster (at least many if not every. Jonathan Hyde has played roles in movies like Titanic, Anaconda, and Jumanji.  

10. Omid Djalili (Warden Gad Hassan)

Omid who played the role of Warden in The Mummy tried many things after the movie and today; he is a successful stand-up comedian and television producer. 

11. Erick Avari (Dr. Terrence Bey) 

The 65-year-old Indian-American actor brilliantly portrayed the role Dr. Terrence in the movie. Today, he is known for his contribution in the television industry.  

12. Bernard Fox (Captain Winston Havlock)

The late actor played the role of Captain Winston in the movie and as usual, he did it with perfection. The legendary actor died on 14 December 2016 of heart failure in a hospital in Los Angeles.   That's all, folks!
