Somayeh Mehri and her daughter Rana are pictured kissing each other in a picture here. Both of them are acid attack survivors. Somayeh's husband did this to them while they were sleeping. The reason for this was Somayeh's decision to divorce him.

A National Geographic photographer re-visited the place where he had captured this beautiful girl and her cosmic eyes. She lived in Afghan/Pakistan's refugee camp somewhere around 1984. The photographer decided to trace the women again and returned to the place.

When Hitler visited Paris in the year 1941 shortly after its invasion, he said: "This is one of the finest moments of my life."

Model, actress, and sex symbol from the 1950s to 60s, Audrey Hepburn was pictured shopping in a store in Beverly Hills alongside her pet Deer, 'Ip.'

#10 Kiss at the Times Square in New York City. 

A famous sailor who kissed the nurse at the Times Square in New York City is seen here posing with that iconic picture. His name was Glenn McDuffie, and he died in the year 2014 at the age of 86.

Although this picture may not be as old as other pictures, it is historical for its reasons. Mark Zuckerberg, founder of the world-famous social media website is seen standing in the dormitory of Harvard University, from where it had all started.

Buzz Aldrin is the name of the scientist who took the first selfie in the space while he was on a Gemini 12 mission in 1966.

A Buddhist monk, Thich Quang, burned himself to death during 1963 Vietnam war. The reason for this was a feud between Buddhists and Catholics.
