Mark Zuckerberg's Heart-touching Letter To His Newly Born Daughter August

On August 28, 2017, the founder of Facebook, CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Dr Priscilla Chan gave birth to their second daughter. Their first daughter, Max, is soon to turn two years old this year. Some reports on the internet suggest that Mark has already named his daughter, August; and he also wrote a lengthy open letter addressing to her on Facebook. In the letter, Mark can be spotted talking about how he hopes about the world she [August] will grow up in, and how as a dad he will make sure that his child enjoys her childhood.Excerpts from the letter read, "Childhood is magical, you only get to be a child once, so don't spend it worrying too much about the future. You've got us for that, and we'll do everything we possibly can to make sure the world is a better place for you and all children in your generation."

At the beginning of the letter, Mark wrote:

"Priscilla and I are so happy to welcome our daughter August! When Max was born, we wrote her a letter about the world we hope she grows up in, and also hoping she doesn't grow up too fast," said Mark.

But to August, the billionaire mogul said:

"But rather than write about growing up, we want to talk about childhood. The world can be a serious place. That's why it's important to make time to go outside and play," Zuckerberg penned in his letter to August.

Talking about growing old, Mark mentioned in his post.

"You [August] will be busy when you're older, so I hope you take time to smell all the flowers and put all the leaves you want in your bucket now. I hope you read your favourite Dr Seuss books so many times you start inventing your own stories about the Vipper of Vipp."

The coupld had announced in March that they're expecting their second child.

And earlier in August, Mark Zuckerberg had revealed that he would be taking two months paternity leave for taking care of his family.

Mark also joked while talking about paternity leave and said...

...He would take advantage of Facebook's policy to take leaves in three parts.

The founder of social media giant updated his status as:

"I'll take a month off to be with Priscilla and the girls at the beginning, and then we'll spend the whole month of December together as well."

Here's the full letter from Mark to his daughter.

Along with the letter, as you can see, Mark uploaded a picture of his elder daughter Max playing with infant August. Both Mark and Priscilla look extremely happy in the picture.
