Ric Flair is without a doubt one of the greatest wrestlers WWE has ever produced. He has been in the wrestling business for more than 40 years now, but the legendary wrestler is currently fighting for his life. The 68-year old former wrestler is suffering from multiple organ problems and recently underwent surgery. We hope that he recovers soon and we see him in the wrestling ring again.Ric Flair's career lasted long in WWE. #1 Ric Flair used to look very different. 

Ric Flair was a bulky man until a plane crash which took place in 1975 broke his back. The doctors said he would not be able to wrestle again, but he did and with perfection.  

#2 He has been married four times.

Ric Flair has had four wives named Leslie Goodman, Elizabeth Harrell, Tiffany VanDemark, and Jacqueline “Jackie” Beems. In July 2016, Ric got engaged to Wendy Barlow.   

#3 He gave away Triple H World Title. 

Ric Flair and Triple H share a teacher-student bond. According to Triple H, Ric Flair gave his original World Title belt to him during the shooting of Flair's The Definitive Collection documentary.  

#4 His original name is not Ric Flair.

Ric Flair's original name Richard Morgan Fliehr is not his birth name. It is said that his birth name is Fred Phillips. 

#5 The match that did not happen.

Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair are the two biggest names in the history of wrestling. They two were scheduled to fight in WrestleMania VIII, but it did not happen. No one exactly knows the reason behind it. According to many wrestling experts there, match at WrestleMania VIII would have made more sense.   

#6 He revealed a major thing about André the Giant.

Ric Flair said, "In 1975, Andre the Giant drank 106 beers. And Frank Valois, his manager at that time, drank 56."  

#7 The Undertaker brought back his confidence.

When Ric Flair came back to WWE in 2001, he doubted his capabilities because he was about to wrestle after eight years. So to bring back Ric's confidence The Undertaker requested a match against him at WrestleMania 18. Ric Flair and Deadman pulled off one of the greatest matches in the history of WM.  

#8 He is not the original Nature Boy.

Ric Flair adopted the name of Nature Boy after the professional wrestler Buddy Rogers. He also copied Buddy's finishing move that is Figure-Four Leg Lock.  

#9 Ric pushed Charlotte into sports.

Ric always pushed his daughter to become a sports star but according to Charlotte, she never thought she would become a professional wrestler. Charlotte's brother Reid told her to try professional wrestling.  

#10 What did he choose Shawn Michaels?  

Ric Flair's legendary career ended at WrestleMania 24. He wanted his best student to end his career that's why he chose Shawn Michaels.

Ric Flair's 'Collision in North Korea' took place in front of 1,90,000 people.
