These Shots Of Birds From Audubon Photography Awards Capture Their Amazing Beauty

Photography is one of the most powerful mediums around. It's rightly said that a picture is worth more than a thousand words and photography as a profession is actively gaining popularity. So much so, that the 2017 Audubon Photography Awards received over 5500 entries. The purpose of hosting such an event was a dual one, first, it was done to celebrate the vulnerability and the elegance of birds and secondly, there was a cash prize and a possibility to exhibit one's work at the 2017 Nature’s Best Photography Exhibition at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. In the end, the panel of judges finally chose the one over 5500 entries and the winning masterpiece was Deborah Albert's photo of a Gentoo penguin which showcased family ties in that wonderful photo. So let us salute Deborah's and many other photographers achievements who clearly did a lot of hard work to capture the perfect shot. Let the amazing journey begin
