A certain type of carpet, or giant cupboards that were known wardrobes (not closets), the list goes on. As it turns out, things that were 'in fashion' a few decades ago, can't even be recognized in the 21st century. But that's what makes them 'vintage'. These were razor blade slots. 

You can still find these small slots in hotels that were built in the olden times, and they're still in use. 

You could dispose of your razor blades here.

It's a good idea. 

Instead of throwing them away in the trash where your pets or kids can find them, you can easily throw them inside a wall. 

But there's one downside. 

If you're getting your home renovated, you would just find a load of razor blades shoved in the back of your walls.
