According to the Department of Justice, among undergraduate college students, 23.1% of females and 5.4% of males experience rape or sexual assault through physical force, violence, or incapacitation. 

When Susana Cappello, Carolina Baigorri, and Victoria Roca, three friends who attended Gulliver Preparatory school in Miami, Florida learned of this fact, they knew they had to take action. They understood that this was one of the most important modern age issues and something had to be done regarding the same. They decided to make a product for an entrepreneurship class with one goal in mind: reduce the date rape statistics.They faced an uphill battle, from product failures to taunts from classmates, but these three teenagers were passionate about their project. They persevered, went on to win first place in the Business Plan Challenge at their school, with one judge calling their idea brilliant.
